Polished concrete, high-solids epoxy, urethane cement, and ESD systems
Manufacturing and warehouse flooring includes industrial floor systems chosen by traffic load, chemical exposure, dust control, lighting goals, and facility use. Cape Cod Coatings designs and installs ProREZ polished concrete, high-solids epoxy, and urethane cement systems for manufacturers, fabricators, 3PL warehouses, distribution centers, and e-commerce fulfillment facilities across Southeastern Massachusetts. Each system is forklift-rated, OSHA-stripable, built for the demands of industrial operations, and backed by a 15-year written guarantee.

For warehouse facilities, the right concrete coating system depends on the space’s use, traffic, and exposure conditions. Polished concrete is a strong choice for high-bay warehouses, distribution centers, and light manufacturing areas because it offers excellent light reflectivity, has no coating film that can delaminate, and provides a low lifecycle cost; however, stains can remain visible and it does not provide chemical resistance on its own.
High-solids epoxy is well suited for manufacturing plants, assembly areas, and spaces with light chemical exposure, offering color options, chemical resistance, and easy 5S striping, though it may amber under UV exposure and is not ideal for hot wash-down environments.
Urethane cement is often used in food, beverage, chemical, and cold-storage facilities because it is thermal-shock proof and USDA-acceptable, but it typically has a higher installation cost and a rougher finish. For electronics manufacturing, battery facilities, server rooms, and other static-sensitive spaces, ESD/static-dissipative epoxy provides controlled resistance and a grounded surface, though it requires a proper grounding plan.

Cape Cod Coatings serves manufacturers, 3PLs, and distribution centers across Cape Cod, the South Shore, Plymouth County, Bristol County, New Bedford, Fall River, Taunton, Brockton,
Wareham, and the surrounding SE Massachusetts corridor.
Polished concrete wins for high-bay DCs and clean dry warehouses: no film to delaminate, high light reflectivity, and the lowest life-cycle cost. Epoxy wins where you need color coding, chemical resistance, or a brand-new uniform appearance over a stained slab.
Yes. We specify build thickness to your load class (typically Class IV–VI heavy-duty). Urethane cement and high-build epoxy systems are rated for daily forklift, jack-stand, and reach-truck traffic.
Yes. ProREZ ESD epoxy is installed with a grounded copper grid and tested for resistance per ANSI/ESD S20.20 expectations.
Yes. Phased installs (aisle by aisle, cell by cell), overnight pours, and weekend shutdowns are standard.
The ProREZ portfolio includes systems documented for resistance to caustics, acids, hydraulic oil,
cutting fluids, and battery acid. We match chemistry to your actual exposure list.
Yes. Densified polished concrete with a lithium or sodium silicate densifier locks down concrete dusting
without a film coating, which is ideal for DCs and warehouses.
Most warehouse zones return to forklift traffic in 24–72 hours. Polyaspartic topcoats can return to light
foot traffic the same day.
Yes. OSHA-compliant aisle, pedestrian, hazard, and 5S striping is installed as part of the floor package.
